then you can bury them, and sledge them, or as mentioned burn them.
(For those wondering yes, putting down sand around the campfire 100% prohibits the fire from accidentally spreading.

Need to cover also the diagonal angles with sand though to make it 100% fire proof.)
But yes you can also leave them there and wait 2 week or so, and they should disappear. It depends how long you set for the bodies to disappear. (sandbox settings)
Once i had to kill over about 800 (maybe a 1000?) zeds near my base.
It is best to lead big bands away and kill them further away from your home, where you can safely loot them and leave them to rot.
I agree, there’s a lot of unused unwanted denim he’s leaving on those zombies. I walk around the kill zone and strip this stuff and just leave it on the floor until I’m ready to do a big clothing collection. Only the leather and denim though the rest of the rags are junk to me.
Remember though zombies can wake up from death now. So burning burying or carrying the corpses further away parking vehicles ontop of them lol maybe a safer solution than leaving to rot
I literally call them "fireplaces", as they are a place to put fire. You could build a "burn pit" for bodies the same way, not have to worry about it spreading. Sand sounds a lot simpler though.
It is also one of the things i level up quite hard, cuz i dont want to dismantle everything:)
So i completely forgot about this.
However in doors you can also just use the sand to pour on the ground and prohibit the fire from spreading. If you have no electricity no bbq or gas oven you can use this solution to cook inside. Also making a sand block for your genny can help too if you tend to forget regular maintenance.
Yeah and i think a trowel also works, but the ashes disappear on their own i think too, if not you can also place them with the shovel in trash.
I think it requires a sandbox setting enabled. (And also keep in mind bodies weigh i think 20 pounds so you need a large dumpster to fit it i in)
