Report a translation problem
To use it you need to just "drop" it on the ground and when you have a craftable item that requires a workbench, you simply need to stand near it.
It counts as a container so the best way to know you're at the workbench is when the container for it pops up in the loot menu. (You can also store stuff like nails and glue inside of it as a handy way to stay organized)
That's really weird how that works and not very intuitive. But at least I can build the advanced items.
