However I've noticed this problem even without mods.
No specific cases. Zombie can be wearing the most basic of clothes and it still disappears.
I'm inclined to believe this since I did see some zombies that had disappeared after coming through an area again.
Essentially what I was witnessing were corpses coming in and out of existence very rapidly, I was watching the zombies flickering in the pile (about 900kg of corpses, give or take) like a bad texture, and I could see the loot rapidly vanishing and reappearing, with the total weight of all the corpses going up and down too. When I tried it loot the pile, my character got stuck in an endless looting animation where they'd take stuff (the green bar would fill up for each item) and then they'd not get anything for multiple attempts, and when they did get a few items I'd watch their capacity go from like 18kg to 26kg and then back down to 18kg again a few seconds later.
When I quit out and came back, walking over to the (still flickering) pile of corpses caused them to shift and teleport around, possibly back to their original places, it was odd for sure. A lot of them teleported into a nearby room and became stuck in the corner of it, like permanent shadows I couldn't figure out how to loot or grab.
Likely not helpful at all to you I know, sorry about that, but I just wanted to add a bit more legitimacy to the current situation or something. I've never seen anything like that before.
