Cannot Plumb the Washing Machine

I have been trying to install the washing machine for more than an hour, and it is proving impossible. I don't know if I'm bugged or if there's something I'm doing wrong. The rain barrel is exactly at the top (i tried with 25 | 50 | 100 | 200 /400 and still having the same problem), but at the moment of the "plumbing the washing machine" it seems that my character fails. I'm Electrical 6

Well, I'll start with what I know.
Regardless of how much water is in the catchers, you can always plumb it to things like Sinks.
Rain catchers must be on the tile adjacent to the furniture you're trying to plump + 1 floor higher.
There is (currently) no skill level requirement for plumbing.

A top down view of how to place waterbarrels to plumb into sinks/washing machines.

W = Washmachine tile (Below floor, note it is NOT an acceptable position despite being below)
x = Acceptable raincollecter position

Should all work as normal with washing machines, but I know sinks work like so.

Based on what I've read plumbing can be notoriously tricky. One problem involves the game failing to recognize something is indoors apparently, although I don't know if that's the issue here. All I can say is you definitely aren't the first or only person to experience frustration ;)

Is the room you're plumbing it into completely sealed with walls? Like a "legit room" kind of situation? I've had issues in the past where I've tried making an outdoor industrial sink for the farmer in our group that had three walls and then an open front side with no walls, but because the sink wasn't completely surrounded in a "room" it wouldn't let me plumb it. I had to finish building the wall in its entirety, with one window wall, and then jump through into the "legit room" before it would let me plumb it in. The upstairs barrel didn't need to be sealed off though.

Then I knocked down the walls and continued on my merry way, the sink remained functional.

Also make sure you have a pipe wrench, of course!

I tried to expand my small house. The 9 cell I extended is recognised is outside. Temp -10. 1 cell up temp is 8 degrees. Strange.

The thing with plumbing is, the rain barrel needs to be on a tile that isn't right above the tile the washing machine is on, just right next to it, think of a tile in the middle (the washing machine) there are 4 possible tiles you can put it on that'd be next to it on the roof. But the more important thing, is that the structure that you're trying to plumb it inside of, needs to have 4 walls around it, and a fully enclosed roof. That's mainly the specific parameter the game looks for to let you plumb.

Thanks. The walls need to close the Barrels or the Washing Machine ? Because I have the washing machine inside a big room

I've looked at this video and despite having to translate with google to see what some of it says, it's odd seeing the plumbing option still be there.
Perhaps the washing machine might need to be picked up and put back down?

A little odd since the placement itself is fine, and it is cheap to say but I really don't wanna immediately frame one assume a mod is the cause.

Yeah that looks pretty good to me, can't see anything wrong. The only thing I can think of is maybe your water barrel is frozen or something, or filled with snow, and thus can't be plumbed in or something?
