Burning down walls to access buildings

Was this removed? In previous patches I was able to get into gun stores by burning down the walls and extinguishing the fires, but now the walls don't have holes to jump through anymore. Was this patched?

I guess it might depend on the material of the wall itself, and I know that it seems to be a random chance, on wood walls at least (houses etc.), if after the wall is burnt, if it will become just a charred wall or it will create one of those holes you're talking about. Which gun store are you trying to break into?

Welp it just seems you have to leave it burning for quite some time. I was trying to break into Riverside's, and I could do it after almost burning half the thing down lmao.

dont think it got patched, i cant say i play with fire in this game alot, since we cant restore the damaged building back to its former state, i try not to do that at all.

but recently (was still in 41.61 build) i was fooling around with bombs, a brick wall got damaged and became a burned wooden wall. i didnt check if i can climb thru it tho.

it had a gate right? well... good luck then... you would be better off with finding a sledgehammer then... or if it was a door you can simply disassemble them or, what i like to do sometimes, use a handaxe; hammer; crowbar or anything similar to that and melee the door. there are some tools/weapons that do more or less significant structure damage. it still takes longer than disassembling it but it works
