Can we boxe zombies?

I really don't understand why we can only push zombies with our bare hands and yet we can stop on them. I asked for an RKO mod and nobody was interested in making it, understandable, but can we at least boxe zombies as you can punch your enemies in Skyrim? Maybe put that the character get easily tired but let me punch this zombie heads

this could work but you would need some boxing gloves or something to stop bits of zombie teeth and whatnot being stuck in your knuckles

The zombie infection is transmitted by zombie saliva. First time you punched them and hit their jaw, and their teeth broke skin, you'd be a dead man walking figuratively, and then literally a few days after.

And not scratches? Plus you can always use the sandbox to set how the infection is transmitted. To be honest I don't see many problem with punching or at least kicking then?

Logically, you would not want to punch a zombie; if your knuckles get bloody that could easily transmit blood. That's just asking to die. You can stomp on zombies when you push them down.

Adding boxing gloves would be kinda cool but bare knuckles is just not smart.

i say this because we waited for a necron lord dlc to be made after no more updates were happening for dawn of war 2 retribution (and after 1 year, it got made, for free too) :)

I think there is a mod about traits
it's a martial artist trait or something

whenever you shove zombies you have a chance to give them damage, i once was making some god character using several trait mods at once, and trully bashing heads was satisfying, that martial artist thing was amazing to use.
but that's my only recommendation for you.

So i might have given you a little chance to finding least something similiar, and that's the best it could be, i may post the trait mod later, tho it's kinda easy to get it, bet u can find it urself... i'm rn. sick and tired so, good luck.
the mod is not a left-alone trait btw, there's several other traits just in case, it's one of the popular alternatives so give it a go.

It's not that we don't like it, it's that punching zombies is completely illogical. Anyone who has ever been in a street fight can tell you that when you punch people in the face there's a very good chance that you will bust a knuckle on their teeth, which in the case of zombies would be a death sentence. Also I don't know that it really fits here, because this isn't Dead Rising.

A better question would be 'why are you bare footed?'. The mechanic is implemented to stomp; It doesn't care what you're wearing, but 99.9% of players will have shoes and socks on, since you start with them, and just walking around bare footed causes you injuries. It's reasonable to expect a player definitely will have some kind of footwear and not explicitly code in stomp prevention for not having some. Moreover, You can only stomp on downed and immobile zombies which even if you were barefoot you have a LOT more control in the situation.

For hands it's vice versa though; You don't typically wear gloves. You don't start with gloves. You may not even wear gloves if you have them for aesthetic reasons, and it's downright dumb to punch at a still moving zombie.

It's nitpicking though, since you'll almost never be barefoot except the CDDA challenge, and even then, one zombie kill which you dont need to stomp for and you'll have shoes.
