How to light a campfire!!! HELP

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocket science!! I hadded books planks papers raggs and other ♥♥♥♥♥!!!! And im holding a lighter!!!! What more shall i do!! by the way the campfire inventroy is empty!! BUG no? i mean where did all my materials go??? And why is there no option to light the campfire! I have better luck building a time machine!

Fuel added to a campfire does not go into its inventory. I never had issues with campfires but I usually go the Notched wooden plank option for starting the actual fire.

Would makes sense to see the campire inventory but wahteva! And where do i get Notched wooden plank ?? and with them i can start a fire!?? Please be clear cause i have no clue!

You can craft the notched wooden plank if you have a screwdriver and a wooden plank. Will also need some fuel in your inventory iirc to start the fire (kindling).

Just being near this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ BUGGY CAMP FIRE im loosing all my lighters!!! WTF is going on!! why are all my lighters dissapearing out of my inventory! THIS is when the game is not fun when ♥♥♥♥ like this occurs! H8 it

When a lighter is equipped, it'll usually be on, draining fuel. Hit F to turn it off.

Right click the fire, if you have lighter/matches and kindling like paper or books, you should be able to start the fire. Adding fuel will keep it lit longer. Notched planks are used when you don't have a lighter/matches.

Did not know that bout hitting F Thanks! And no i had added planks and books and with the lighter in hand it gave me no option to light the fire ..... lame ..... so i did it with that drilled plank.
