Starting an asphalt fueled inferno.
Maybe don`t abuse the game to get an easy ride?
But yes, reversing into things with cars is a bit too good at the moment.
oh and try 6 months later
gl with that strat
There is no winning in this game. You found an obvious and popular exploit. Congrats.
Presumably, devs will be nerfing cars into the ground with upcoming updates. They have a medieval image for their game I guess. So your car strat wont work long term.
Ofc there will be zeds, they respawn endlessly.
Or you can try harder settings in sandbox.
You can try to join a Pvp MP server.
You can try focus more on the RP instead of abusing exploits.
Btw this exploit is the one of those I'm mentioned on pz forum. Players like y o u asked me if I want cars made out of paper... Long story short: admins blocked ME because I was who started a fight... (Ok, I'm admit, I'm called players who can't survive other ways but abusing those exploits N O O Bs).
Back in b40 players blocked their homes with cars. Devs added the ability to zeds to crawl under cars.
There were (and still there are) many unbreakable furniture to make your base 120% zedproof.
You can build floating houses by removing all the ground floor walls and all the stairs.
I'm ask what's the point to play a game cheating your way through it?
Add cheat menu mod, activate god mode and play. Later you can complain the game is boring. After that you can start a game without cheating and come back to the forum complaining the game is unplayable hard...
I'm advise this: Forget the exploits, and try to play the game normally.
what are you on about
I did enjoy base building but then realised its quite a limiting experiance.
Instead I have a van with all my essentials in (ie a generator) and I travel round the map, do a recon of each settlement then find a safe house to park the van, best near where there are cars. Then grab a car and off I go - bump and grind until there are no zombies.
My van is also fine to sleep in too. I've done it a few times, and if it attracts a zombie i just drive off, instead of trying to fortify my base.
Someone asked what I do when power/water goes out? Its easy, you pillage houses, shops and almost anything for water. There is almost an infinite amount of canned foods.
There is an almost infinite amount of fuel to be found in car lots or on the highway - its very Mad Max 2 but it works for me.
Yes cars can get wrecked, but they last longer in reverse. And tires can pop/burst. I can drive quite a distance on three wheels and a rim. Then its time to find another car to hotwire and off I go again.
Once an area is cleared I use the generator in my van to refuel at liberated gas stations and fill up the dozen fuel canisters I'm carrying in the van too.
The liberated streets look incredible - just a whole river of gore, splats and bodies.
(I also found the hard way that piles of zombie corpses can flip a car).
In essence - being a Road Warrior seems to be the best way of playing.
But the game allows you to change the balance around your playstyle and skill level. If you feel like cars are too good make them less durable. If zombies are too easy make them sprinters or use some mods.
It's up to you how much you like to "unbreak" the game to make it challenging again. Some playstyles become more less viable as a result, depending on what you chose to change.
Just get an emergency vehicle and build fires then turn on the siren and walk away. Go back in 20 minutes, reposition, rinse. repeat.
Perfect
*chef kisses
the game is as hard as you make it yourself i would say. i personally am not really able to survive over a week without something going horribly wrong that ends in my death. most likely having security going off or zombies that sorroung me from one moment to the next one hahahaha ^^"
Zombies respawn so killing them all is a mute point.
