Probably. They attack inanimate objects at the slightest provocation. Generators, crops, windows, trash cans. Why wouldn't they immediately slaughter livestock too?

Pretty sure they will, they already eat the animals you trap for now.

Would be nice for gameplay but a bit weirdly unrealistic for a Z-apocalypse don't you think? (I prefer it that way anyways)

Game play would probably be best if they were just attracted and did not attack them.

Hopefully we get an option to toggle this though.

I thought it was semi-confirmed a while ago that zombies are only attracted to humans for food, but would still be drawn to noises created by animals (but wouldn't attack them).

Ultimately, I'm pretty confident that there will either be a vanilla option to turn off/on ZombiesAttackAnimals, or a mod that adds the option. It could sit on the list right under ZombiesCanUseDoors. :D:

I hope they attack animals. Makes sense to me they would attack the animal. But in most movies they are not known for attacking animals. Dawn of the Dead they dont attack the dog, and 28 days later they dont attack or the dogs or horses. But i couldnt really picture a scene with a bunch of cows and 25 zom all mixed together and the cows just grazing.

Hopefully there is a sandbox option for animals to be attacked or not.

The walking dead was abit contradictive it showed wild animals were just fine and even some Rottweilers which were thriving among the zombies. But then earlier in the series it showed live chickens being fed to zombies. So. We’ll see. Maybe the electric fence will come into play and defend the livestock deter the zombies from entering the field

Do Animals turn into Zombies?

Do animals physically exist in the map before you trap them? I’ve heard tons of turkeys and what sounds like pig or boar, but so far have never seen an animal.

Nah. only birds, squirrels and rabbits, they appear in your trap and you can butcher them after. But if you dont check the trap zombies can eat them.

You know it well I haven’t watched since it was released. There is a scene with Rottweilers eating corpses by a fence with zombies around

You are correct because they wonder if they can eat the meat after a zombie had been eating
