How do you catch the TV shows?

They didn't start at the times that I've seen tossed around. Just commercials. I in fact never saw them come on at all. I did select the channel and click tune in, and I was within distance of the volume.

Are the wikis just really out of date?

you'll want to tune in to life and living channel. the tv programs are at 6 am, 12 noon and 6 pm. infomercials at 12 midnight but that only drops boredom

Weird. I did all that. Do you have to be there precisely at the start or you get none of it or something? :(

the programs are relatively short, if your 10 mins late, good chance you missed it. I tend to set my alarm 10 min early for them and bring a book to read while wait for them to come on. on some rare occasions Ive caught the show an hour or 2 later when have missed them but thats random and not sure exactly how that works

also should ask, are you using any mods? 95% the time when something in game doesnt work as intended, its due to a mod breaking something

Just a mod that changes player skin texture.

So there is randomization? Is the 6/12/18 just the starts of a window?

I'll back up all this information with two things to add. The skills improvement shows are only on in the first 9 days after you start on live TV. When you do change the channel on the TV it is important to click the "Tune In" button to actually shift it to the correct channel.

Also depends how you have your game settings adjusted. Broadcast can be adjusted to you liking, make sure you havent chosen a scenario where tv broadcast is already down.

Yea that sounds like the culprit OP. I think your starting after the shows have already stopped. They stop after about 15 days of the "event" start. You can start your game sometimes months after the "event".

Sometimes there's commercials before the actual programs start, in case that's what's confusing you.

ya was thinking you getting the commercial before the broadcast but that dont happen everytime
