Any fast way to grind Metalworking, Mechanics, or Tailoring?
Hey everyone. Just a quick question has anyone found a decently fast way to level these skills up? The grind for these skills is really tedious. Just wondering if anyone has found a faster method to grind these out

For Mechanics, you can get XP once per day PER CAR for each item removed AND put back in. So a good grind method I've found is to either collect several vehicles, or go to a junkyard, and remove and replace every component you have the skill/training for. At the start, this means all 4 lights, the radio, and the battery (all guaranteed success and no component degradation). Do all 6 of those to 10 cars in a day (with the skill book read) and that's around 45 XP per day. Enough to get you rank 2 in a few days game time. The bigger parts, once you're able, give more XP.

For tailoring, get a pair of scissors, and scrap literally every piece of clothing you aren't going to use off of every single zombie. It's a bit slow, but the passive exp gain will over time get you far, and it gets you materials you can grind with whenever you want to go faster. Toss like, 99% of the ripped sheets you get on zombie corpses to despawn, but keep all denim and leather strips, and thread for grinding purposes (Add thread to make full thread reels to save weight). The passive gains will see you to level 4 easily within a month without any additional effort on your part.

Mechanics, get a bunch of vehicles in a small area either by driving or towing, and then once every 24+ hours, go over them one by one removing and replacing any and all parts you can- Or just focus on doing the bigger parts on more vehicles, since exp gained seems to be tied to the difficulty of a part (EG: headlights give little, replacing shocks/brakes/wheels is big.) Importantly, you need to wait 24+ hours, If you come back at 23 or less, you'll not get exp and have to wait for 24 hours again. I do it on alternating days to be sure.

Metalworking, find a school, dismantle everything- You'll get a LOT of metalworking exp from all the lockers, metal chairs, metal desks, sinks, toilets, etc.

And of course, Make sure you've read the relevant books. It is a bit grindy, though.
