How to recover account username and password?

Theres a dedicated server i play on, but i deleted my username and password like a noob. I have no idea what it was, how do i recover them?

You would have to contact the server admin so they can reset your password on the server.

What does the admin need to do, to recover the password ? Can You please explain the steps to do so, cause i have the same problem as a friend above but i know the admin so its not a problem.

Go to the admin menu > Database > Find the username > Delete it from there > Have the player connect with the same username and a new password.

Thank U very much i got it by using commands from the admin account. I deleted my nickname from whitelist and added it second later with a new password.
Commands i used were:
/removeuserfromwhitelist "nickname"
/adduser "nickname" "password"
Its easy to do if you know the admin etc. The character was same as it was before nothing was lost. Im typing this in case someone needs help as i needed earlier. Ty again.

So, to be clear

User "Mike" forgot his password
I am logged in as admin, i just delete his account, he will create one with the same name (but with another password) and his character will still be there?

So, to be clear

The only thing You need to do from the admin account is execute these commands i gave U in my comment.
After You do it, "Mike" should just use the same nickname as he had, and just insert the password U chose for him through this command :/adduser Mike "password"
That should leave his character alone without changing or killing him. I hope it helps, if U have any more question ill try to help.

I have the same problem except I dont even know my username. I thought I saved it but this morning I try to log on and the credentials do not work. I do not know my username or password. should have written it down. can the admin still help?

You'd have to try and remember what the username was vaguely, at least the first letter or something. Admins can filter through the list of players/users and find it that way
