Where do i get matches/lighter?

I'm on day 10 and not a single match or a lighter... I've scoured all of Muldraugh and nothing, anyone know places where these spawn with the highest chance? My character has the Smoker trait so i can't use the plank with a drilled hole to light my ciggies.

Ive found them in those closet rooms with metal shelves. Seems to be totally random. I find them when im not looking for them basically haha. Most of time tho it has been those single door closet smallest room with shelves tho. I have seen, got a lighter and matches different times and lives at the Muldraugh gas station.

House garages (not mechanic shops) and gas station shelves behind the cash register have been best for me

You bet! I forgot to mention convenience stores too, not just behind the counter but sometimes on the shelves mixed with the junk food like chips and jerky

Zombies will sometimes have cigarettes / lighter / matches. Those resources will never run out because of that.

looking through glove boxes and trunks usually yields one of either

Bars. Homes. Do not forget to check the furniture, as they may have it on tables, counters etc.
