If you pickup/pack storage furniture does it become "player owned"
and will it lose its loot respawn/despawn features

You just place it on different place it's all but some things can broke or not, if u try to take them on hands like wooden boxes

what? so it does become player owned if i pick furniture up?

So what you mean "player owned". If you mean there are certain items that are unbreakable, like the metal trash cans, yes if you take them up and place them someplace else now they are destroyable.

About the despawn/respawn part i have no knowledge, my mp exp is limited.

ah i only care about the loot respawn/despawn stuff. i didnt even know that some was indestructible until owned

I haven't tested it myself, but I have searched for the answer in the past. Take this with a helping of salt:
- Player-placed items in containers will not be affected by loot respawn (in other words, they won't be deleted).
- You can set how long since a container was "seen" (opened) until it can be respawned.
- Items may or may not be added to those containers during respawn (I could not find a solid answer on this).
