Is there a way to change date when game has started?

Hi there I own a server and wondering if it is possible to move the current game date from what it currently is (september) to possibly november? just to accelerate progression into winter. if this is possible.

I don't think it is possible but I got another solution for you, try setting the game length to 15 minutes in real-time, and you can AFK in-game to let it go through. Climate control as admin to remove winter, set precipitation to 0 and make sure you tick it

I looked into the code and then in the hex editor of the file map_t.bin. And if you want to change the current game time and not the start time, I think you have to change the NightsSurvived inside the file.

I remember doing something similar to turn the power back on, but I changed the date to start in winter when I did.
I wouldn't suggest a soft reset but I think that's what I did. I can't suggest it because I haven't done it in at least a year, so I don't remember exactly BUT look into it, maybe a soft reset with different settings will work for you. PLEASE look into it first and backup. I mean probably nothing will happen but just backup!!!
The idea is you "refresh" the world with the new settings but everything else should still be there, the stuff you built, etc.
Again, though, you'll need to look into it because maybe it wasn't soft reset but another option that I'm mis-remembering.

Month is always listed in the hexadec as 1 value lower than it is, so 09 becomes october, 06 was my july, and i imagine 0A is november
