how do you move furniture like chairs to block doors?

saw someone barricading themselves in about a week ago. finally got around to getting the game but cant find an option to "move" furniture when rightclicking them

Last I checked the Zs will ghost through objects by doors or windows. You have to click the pickup button below the crafting one to move large items. Some items need screwdrivers ect to pick up and or have chances to break.

left side is a picture of a night stand, can click that and it gives you option to pick up and place furniture
