Glove Durability

I know this may seem like a not to serious issue more so just tedious, but also annooying, the gloves i've found wear out so fast and I can't figure out why that is, I fought little explaination but i've had the same clothes this whole time and gone through 3 pairs of gloves worn to the ground and then rest of my clothes are in great condition, I haven't repaired anything at all cause i'm still a fairly new-ish player, and I Have not been damaged by zombies for awhile too, however, in that time i went through 3 pairs of gloves and i have not moved through trees which is one answer i noticed, What can be rapidly destroying the gloves so fast? It just seems so barbaric

Have you jumped fences, picked up or cleared broken glass, or done a LOT of pushups lately? Depends on the gloves as well, but I've had the same pair of finger-less gloves for over a week in-game and they're just now getting into the bad condition. If you're using surgical gloves, that is your answer. A pair of nitrile or latex won't last a day.

not really with the fingerless gloves i hoped just 1 fence I've gone through 1 house on the same day and it was already destroyed, and 2 pairs of long gloves i repaired 1 of the long gloves and wore it and haven't moved just sat couched and already lost 15% of the duability overnight and it's only 2am in-game

Only being attacked by zombies will affect condition I believe. Hopping fences doesnt.

I did mention I haven't been hit or grabbed by any zombie in about a week in-game (said awhile) and have worn through 3 pairs of gloves before the week ended

My leather gloves only seem to get destroyed by zombie interactions. Their condition has been perfect my entire game with the exception of zombie scratches/bites.

well I guess I need leather gloves lol I assume you can only repair the clothes once right? or just the part you have already fixed

I've yet to get my tailoring skill high enough to properly repair clothing. I simply replace whatever's been damaged. Leather gloves tend to be precious to me as they've been hard to replace and the best solution is just not to put myself in a situation where a zombie hit can damage them so I never have to replace them. lol

well like i said i didn't fight a zombie for a week and i burned through 3 gloves and my last glove after i played a bit more i lost more than half the durability by not moving on the last glove

my gloves seem to last until I get a hand injury which honestly makes sense to me.

Ditto. I think once I jumped through a broken window with jagged glass which also makes sense to me.

Jumped over a fence and my leathe gloves were destroyed along with a bleed.
