perhaps for weapon skill?
clear your soon to be safe zone for you?
in game
they zombie have sort of rader map and tracking what zone and how many they in. They will travel/teleport/not actually walking in to the zone that are clear so if you clearing zombie here then in another zone there might be less zeds and they also like water. they spread after huge drop but slower than water and then
There is respawn.. basically they respawn in empty zone/no player in.
I heard that if you close off all your building and all entrance stuff then there wont be any zeds "spawn" in there
I got boredom back then so quit before finish close off the zone but now multiplayer is here so I plan to finally build a large safe area in town
my old playthrough with copy of apocalypse but zeds respawn to 1 month was still full of zeds in city but they number can be reduce and actually clear
I found nice many houses spot on muldraugh and wanna try that
Actually the zombies do migrate, aka travel there. (Quite often you can run into huge wandering bands!)
Teleport is when they respawn, however should not happen while you are there.
At least in single player, my knowledge regarding multi is very very limited.
AFAIK, the respawn mechanic works in a way that game will draw a potential navigation path from an edge of the map to the point it wants to spawn a zombie in. If said path is clear zombie can be spawned but if it is unreachable (blocked), it won't spawn any new zombies in said area.
Respawn is basically a migration of completely new zombies from an off map area. Slightly "simplified" for the gameplay and probably optimization side of things.
Migration is just a movement of zombies already present on the map.
Well, you can roleplay Trump and just build a wall around the "country" to stop illegal immigrants from stealing your vacant jobs.
