when all my statement the info im looking for is this.
alll i asked is how often and how regular updates were, and how many work on game Only to have there toxic waste of space discord act rude as ♥♥♥♥... to give me and my crew an idea on when were going to be able to acually hunt in a survival game.
They weren't as common this year to give the mp development team breathing room and give clearer picture of the progress.
Regular bi-weekly will be back this year, you can find them here: https://projectzomboid.com/blog/ ..or just follow the news channels on their official discord to get update messages directly to your servers, even.
If you really value graphics over gameplay, then I feel sorry for you.
No i dont, i love the game just, was wondering about the updates bc its lont like there updating a game like cyberpunk with top of the line art, there game seems way more simple to add and make things for via 2d and 3d tools ect. but with the gfx of games 20+ years ago so i figured id be pretty regular.
to recive huge fixes and updates and content,
You seem to have it in your head that better looking games equal more complex? That alone tells me you're just not very informed on how things work.
If you have specific problems with people on the Discord it's worth reporting them than dragging it across platforms and basing the entire assumption that the whole Discord is like that, because while there can be (on any platform for any game) bad people it's not something we allow to just continue on when people are just asking things. This doesn't matter if it's defending the game, or attacking it if it's towards people.
To answer your questions though:
It's just after Christmas time, a huge patch was released and people are on holidays/just coming back from holidays (or starting - Russian time). We've done a blog last Thursday and mentioned that we'll have another this week talking about our plans into 2022. Updates are slow because the game is both complex, with lots of systems interacting with each other, and on a custom engine and not something that allows a steady workflow like Unity, as it wasn't an option. There's no set date for any fixes due to this, or anything because we try to do things when we feel they're ready.
We're aware there's bugs and balancing issues etc... at the moment but in the next few weeks and months we'll be rolling out patches as soon as is possible to fix them.
