I don't know much about computers, as some may have inferred. This gamma correction deal... I looked in options / settings for Project Zomboid and nothing leaped out at me. Is it some kind of broader thing, like settings for my laptop itself rather than the game? I'm hesitant to fiddle with stuff, my computer is so old it's technically under the minimum system requirements for the game and crashes any time I try driving fast for example.
Edit: Not necessarily. Some games have their own gamma/brightness options. So while one game may be too dark at a certain setting, another might be just fine at that same setting.
As much as I LOVE Zomboid...
If I'm playing a new character...and it gets really dark...usually - I'll just log off...
It's not worth the stress.
cat's eyes or increase monitor gamma
In short u cant gamma cheat in zomboid, it will not make that forest or interior any better.
Get a flashlight and/take perks for night . Thats all it is.(or change ur nighttime settings to the light night kitty setting)
