Zombie infection does generate the moodle, but nothing else in your list.
Edit: So would taking antibiotics help at all in the early stages? I know it says right on it that it does not prevent zombification but does it help taking in the queasy stage?
Queasy is a bit weird. It's mostly food poisoning (drinking tainted water, drinking bleach, eating poisoned berries, eating uncooked food) and then Zombie infection and flies of decomposing bodies threwn into the mix. For some reason not even getting a cold gives you queasy / sickness.
If queasy is based on food poisoning, lemon grass from foraging can reduce it by some amount, which might or might not be enough to get rid of the moodle.
Antibiotics are pretty much pointless imho, as wound infections are merely a nuisance.
I dont ever eat anything uncooked or tainted or anything like that. I make sure to eat only fresh foods and I always drink from the sink (I havent made it far enough yet for the water to be cut off). I also have the Hearty appetite and High Thirst traits on, as far I know its not the food but I think it was the decomposing bodies.
Overall from my experience I think Queasy is a bit too easy to obtain imo, perhaps my traits are making it like that but I personally dont think so, As I said i'm running High Thirst, Hearty Appetite and Unlucky for my negative traits.
So i moved all the dead bodies outside of the house that I set up base at, Is that enough or do they need to be moved farther away? (I dont have a shovel at my base or anywhere in any of the houses surrounding it)
I had about 5 bodies in the house at the time when I first made this thread and moved them out to the backyard where I wont be walking then I put all my stuff away and killed myself. Luckily my base is the center of all the spawn points for my character
Regarding the corpses, the game looks how many corpses near you have flies and if there are more than 5 corpses, your sickness increases. I think we can assume that if you don't hear flies, the game will not use them to cause sickness.
I've been living longer and longer with each character, I've just about looted half of Muldraugh and I'm working on getting a car to move onto the next town. Thanks for the replies man, very much appreciated good luck to you!
