Invisible player issue in MP

This just happened twice. I'm playing with two friends on a server (one of them is the host) and we are having trouble seeing each other.

Once I couldn't see him (though I could still hear him, see the doors open and close, etc, just a visual bug). He killed himself and the bug solved on its own.

Then, for no reason, both me and my friend became invisible to the third friend. But we could see him. We were just both invisible to him. And we found no way to solve this, so they both refunded the game.

What can we do ?

It's happened to us 3 times maybe in 100 hours. A simple close and reopen of the server sorts it though
