Why am i reading so slow?

Hey! Just started playing a few days ago. I just started a new life and i have the following traits:

Restless sleeper
Smoker
Underweight
Short sighted

Cat's eyes
Fast reader
Wakeful
Graceful
Inconspicuous
Light eater
Stout

My issue is, im reading increadibly slow, i counted 28 seconds for one page. Any reason for this? No moodles are present when im reading.

That's how skill books are designed. Fast forward time to read faster.

Reading is just generally slow in PZ. But you'll notice major differences depending on how many hours a day is in sandbox mode. The longer the day the s l o w e r it takes to read a book. There are mods to increase reading speed.

OH, Thank you! Iv'e been playing builder for my other tries but this time i decided to go for survivor. Glad i didnt pick some horrible trait lol
