Any mods to address the safe house kicking issue?
People are getting kicked from safe house in MP. This makes setting up big base with ppl challenging. The safe house owner has to be online a lot to add the kicked people and to make it worse the kicked people also have to be online in order for the host to add them. Something small like even having the ability to add offline faction members will make this bug a lot more tolerable.

It should be left at 0 (disabled).

I am not the host and the server is being run by someone else. Are you saying this problem is fixed by having safehouseremovaltime to 0?

@EnigmaGrey but it was weird though, my server set the removaltime to 120 which is 5 days IRL ? but it kicked members randomly and frequently even if it's not the time yet.

Hi there. Non Residential Claims mod author here.

Safehouseremovaltime is counted in in-game hours last I was told. Perhaps Enigma could enlighten me further on whether that's accurate, or not, though!

What I do know f or sure, is that there is currently a bug when the value is set to anything over 597, and should so be left on 144, turned off, or set to something around 500 or less.

What you are experiencing sounds like it may be a different bug, if it's set only to 120, especially as the bug is related to the safehouses unclaiming themselves, not just removing members.

Either way, the glitch being spoken of only manifests, to my knowledge, when the setting is higher than 597, and by outright removing the entire claim. This could be another form of it though, I suppose.

Could those affected by this check the size of map_meta.bin?

Both on the server and the client, ideally.

On Windows:

For users: go to %UserProfile%\Zomboid\multiplayer\server_ip_hashOfYourUsername and just ctrl + f map_meta.bin

For server owners: go to %UserProfile%\Zomboid\saves\mutliplayer\NameOfYourServer here and ctrl + f map_meta.bin
