Tapes, they all only one time only?

Hey,

I know that tapes such as, idk, cooking show are of course one time only.

But all others that are solo for -boredom, are they all only one time use for your perk?
Idk about you, but I can listen to the same music Cd more often then 1 time before mentally throwing it in the trash bin.
Just wondered if even those music / story CDs have no effect on your perk anymore after you hear them a single time.

you can watch all VHS tapes multiple times. just you get the benifites 1 time per 24 in game hours.

but not the cooking show right? That would be cheating almost if you regain the skillpoints for cooking all 24h. I guess it only applies to the -boredom factor of those tapes, not the skill points.

Turns out you can cheese the tapes. Stop the tape before it gets to the end and then you can get multiple skill point runs. Also make sure you read the appropriate skill book as it multiplies the skill gain while watching the videos.

And this might be a thing too, idk, I cant be arsed personally as i just boost the XP gain in the sandbox settings.

yes they one time only but I can really tell you that they worth picking up. Weight only 0,1 but they give you full first two levels with book read, and even a full level 4 or 5 sometimes with book read.

The tapes refresh once a character died.

I tested on a Server, and turn out you can easly get all skills exept tailoring to level 4 in 1-3 days with quick reader perk without any problem in MP by having those tapes. Very useful if you die.

Perks like carpentry may sometimes even be higher if min- maxing profits, like turning off the tapes once only 50 exp are left from 4 to level 5, gaining that exp manually and then listining to the tape. That way you dont loose up to 100-300 exp on next level "no exp bonus" change
