That might explain it
Keep in mind this happens in singleplayer as well. Even if I had infection enabled and mortality at 2 weeks it still on the first scratch or hit has a tiny chance to insta kill you. also no I dont mean your health drops quickly I mean you drop flat dead on the spot.
This does happen on servers even if they dont specify this exactly as a instant death from zombie bite or scratch.
THIS IS A BUG.
I think the cause is a glitch where you are infected by a zombie attack and the infection timer is starting, but something causes the zombie infection flag not to be set (or in my case, was toggled by the debug menu.) So the next time you get even a tiny scratch, let's say two weeks later, due to the timer accumulating, you instantly lose all your health and zombify before the injured moodle even has a chance to show.
A lot of people don't notice the dates on threads if they do a search for them in the forum. His theory is interesting, anyway.
Kinda ridiculous when ppl get mad about necro and expect someone to go through extra steps to not ping them. When they can just click the unsub button
kinda ridiculous that people dont have common sense anymore
Maybe have a little patience. New people coming to the forums and gettiing slapped on the wrist because they're looking for help or information and may have overlooked something such as a date isn't very welcoming.
Usually google searches bring up posts from any year. I think if it is an issue a mod will lock the thread. But there have been times where someone has necrod some piece of information that was useful and I was not aware of.
