Where did the sledgehammer go ???
In the new update, the chance to find a sledgehammer has disappeared. Hundreds of garages have been opened, dozens of shops and warehouses have been ransacked, a bunch of trunks have been checked, but there is no sledgehammer and there won't be any along !!! What do you think?

Can confirm, sledgehammer, generator manual, and floor jacks seem to be unicorns in my game as well. 3 months in game and only found 1 floor jack, 0 generator manual, 0 sledgehammer after looting pretty much all of muldraugh. There was exactly 1 floor jack in the car repair store, I was going to be mighty annoyed if there was no jack there either.

It's gotten bad enough that I am strongly considering cheating a sledge and gen manual in...

I got seven generator manuals in my local library lol
I know the pain though, just hit or miss.

As for sledge, just dig and dig into warehouses. Demolish all crates

combed thru entire westpoint's garages and warehouses with my friends, looking for slegdehammer, couldn't find one.

made our way to louisville, been there for almost a week now (we play every 2nd or 3rd day for a couple hours), going thru every building, browsing, and still keeping an eye out for sledge, sofar nothing at all.

For me it's gas can. Found pair of sledgehammer but no gas can. Can't start my generator(s) because I don't have single gas can...
