Fence or Walls?
Hi, I am in Rosewood Map at the Gated Community and I want to get one of the houses as my base. I play with slow shambers and with "Damage Construction" and "Enviromnental Attacks" off so I assume zombies won't be able to destroy my blockade.

I want to block the entrance right here: https://prnt.sc/24cxgen

But I have two questions:

1. Do the "Damage Construction" and "Enviromental Attacks" will make my fence invincible?
2. Should I go for fences or walls? I see that fences require carpentry skill of 5 (the fence post) where walls can be built earlier.

I've read that zombies can climb fences. Does this mean I should go for walls instead?

They will just stumble over small fences, but a wall will definitely stop them and they shouldn't be able to destroy them with your settings. If you build a wooden double door, it'll block the property and allow you to get through with a car.

Ahhhh yes. That was my first base location as well. before they added crawling under car zombies, I would just use 2 cars to block the entrance.

Good times. I wish you the best, stay human

Well, I played a few times before (I played 50 hours - in other games this is enough to know the whole game but in this one I feel like i barely scratched it lol) but I've always been nomad and now I try to set up a base. There are just so many things to consider.
