Air raid siren?
I heard an air raid siren in my solo game. Is this a meta event from base game or a mod? And does it attract zombies?

Okay nvm, I think its part of the 'Expanded Helicopter Events' mod, as now I can hear explosions in the distance.

Naw. I mean, I can't say for sure but things should be relatively fine. I never noticed any huge craters or bunches of burned houses in my plays.

I still have yet to explore where the explosions came from, but I definitely heard jets, air raid sirens and explosion sounds. It's from the Expanded Helicopter Events mod.

I confirm it's from the Expanded Helicopter Events mod. I've just heard it for the first time and it's pretty surreal.

What the Sirens means is a change of events

Military Helicopters will start to shoot at you instead of only zombies. Early game heli spawns will soon stop happening like the Police Choppers. It's basically the beginning of the end for humanity

Horrible I got shot many time in the pass run by military helicopter.
That reminds me to build a roof on my stronghold.
Npcs are walking around and may get shot by them.

The air raid siren and big-ass boom in the distance with EHE is very atmospheric, very effective in giving me the impression that other events are taking place around me. Coupled with NPCs they pad out the world a bit more.

Damned if I can find any crates or flyers though!

For me when the Siren went off, it was on July 14th. It could not have been better.
