1080p/1440p/2160p(4K) Zoom & UI

[Cracktober]

I know this is a minor annoyance, after having to go to some somewhat annoying lengths to get the game to scale properly to higher resolutions (above 1080p) Ive also come across 2 other minor annoyances:

1. The lowest/closest zoom is further out from your character.
So at 1080p it can get pretty close, at 1440p its further away, and at 2160p (4K) its barely zoomed in. So if you want to get a good look at your character - 1080p or below is your friend.

2. UI elements doesnt scale properly.
I know you can set the font size to higher levels (1x,2x,3x,4x) and the font-size on varius UI text. HOWEVER - this doesnt apply to other UI elements - so the UI icons for hungry/tired/sad etc are extremely small in 2160p (4k). The same goes for inventory bars and other UI elements that isnt text.

I know this is a minor issue on the grand scheme of things, but I would love to see proper scaling and/or implementation of higher resolutions, and if anyone knows any solutions to this I would love to hear it. As it is Im forced to play at 1080p when I would love to utilize the higher resolutions that are available to me

I'm sure it will happen at some point, but it's not really a high priority at the moment.

ya i cant play the game on a large monitor or tv. the font is just pixels large at some points... they need to fix this sooner than later.

Meh. I play at 1080 on a 4k screen. So it really isn't anything they need to fix right now at all since it isn't game breaking.

Having same problem here as well not much with other games but just can't get 1920x1080 to set properly on my as well. Agree as well on wish games like this had support for higher resolutions.

This mod is your friend, but it only resizes the font, not the UI, so there will be times when the text makes a mess of things. Most notably the trade window, which is barely usable.

As for the tiny moodles, can't help there. I still don't know what a lot of them are supposed to be. They recently added the ability to resize the mechanic window, that's been a big quality of life improvement.

Just fine actually. You can even get a real good look at your character model too due to everything being a bit bigger.
