No "Admin Panel" option

If I am hosting a multiplayer game, where do I see this admin panel I am reading about? There is no such option when I hit escape.

Give yourself admin permission:

/setaccesslevel "YourUsername" admin

The panel is a little circle on the left of your screen while in game, same side as your heart icon with your skills and stuff, it will be at the bottom of the list.

After you use the "/setaccesslevel" command on yourself, you will see a red circle that says "ADMIN" on the left side of the screen (no need to press ESC like in the older version).

"So you have to be Hosting a multiplayer server, even if you're just solo. Once in the game how to activate command(s) is by opening the chat panel.
Once there you just start typing.

Make sure you have "/" in front of the command.
It should look like this : "/setaccesslevel yourname admin"
**Make sure to add quotes (") around your name**

IE: /setaccesslevel "Bob" admin
If your name was bob.


Side note. If you have special characters in your steam name, make sure to copy your steam name from your profile and paste it.


IE: /setaccesslevel "Bob♥" admin

**Note. The game doesnt show the "♥". It will show as nothing, but the game does register it exists.**"

it doesn't work for me, in the chat he says that i was set to level 32 but i can't get the admin panel anymore

I'm having the same issue as Major Monogram. When i used to use the /setaccesslevel "myname" admin i would get on the left hand side the (admin) buble where i could then add an item or adjust setting in game etc. Now when i get it it just says your access level is now: 32 and the (admin) bubble is NOT there. I have uninstalled the game, delted all PZ files on my computer and did a verification. Nothing seems to be working. Also, i don't even get the red ADMIN text above my head anymore.

If you use a SQLite DB editor & open the PZ .DB file, does it indicate your account IS an admin (TRUE = 1)?? You can switch it there, save the .DB & should be good once you login again

For dedi, it creates an ADMIN account. Need to login w/ that account & you can do the same via commands. Too tempting to make yourself admin on MP/dedi & NOT make things easier for yourself :P

The problem is that the button simply isn't there anymore. I logged in, set access level to admin, looked to the left under the green client button, and the admin panel no longer showed up. Did the recent update remove the button?

Same issue here.
Havent played in a while and now the button simply isnt there even after running the command.

The solution is simple. I've been through that problem too.

Instead of writing:

/setaccesslevel "username" admin

Write:

/setaccesslevel "user" ADMIN

Just use the capital letters.

Hope it worked! It did for me.

I fixed this issue on my end by disabling the debug menu from launch settings. For some reason the DEBUG button takes the same spot as the ADMIN PANEL button.

Sorry for late response was having same problem possible solutions:

2 possibilities
1.Mod Conflict:
For me it was
Fine Tune Options SP - Blindcoders Modding Utility
It interacts with lua making it force launch and so on.
I know Blindcoders M.Utility is awesome but try deactivating it and removing from server
Maybe other mods you have other modes on Blindcoders M.Utility or any other mods that is targeting lua.
Note: i deactivated in game mods settings and didn't add it to server workshop items
2.Case-sensitive and steam special letters
self-explanatory but for me personally my is ✪☭Denton72☢☮ and i wrote down Denton72 as in game i was shown as Denton72 for some this is a big deal for me not really.
