Best practices for Engineer recipes?
I have been excited to try out a noisemaker + remote pipebomb combo to clear huge hordes of zombies for a while now... not even sure if this works in practice, as I have been scared to use any fire since I don't want the entire city to burn to the ground (and I read pipebombs also cause fire).

What is the best practice for handling this sort of thing? Just lure them to a parking lot and have at it?

Then pick a rainy day if you so scared of fire.

I like to lure them into big open spaces like a football field or whatever. better if there is also a lot of fences around. You can hop over if they come to close to gain some distance. Also, if you have a car, you can open the window and throw molotovs and the like into a horde without getting out of the car (saw that on youtube, didnt try it myself yet).

What he said. You can also park a spare garbage car in the field before hand. Round up all your z's set them on fire then park your car with your driverside butt up against the second vehicle. sit there with your horn honking and they all come to you for death.

otherwise unless you have edited the respawn mechanics/migrations "clearing" the zs with fire is only going to last 1 day or so before its back to full. I find it easier to just grab car, honk horn move herd away, punch it to the POI you want to loot (while making sure to break line of sight of course.)
