How cool would it be if the military could take you captive.
Something that sort of forces you to abandon whatever base you've built and start over from scratch in a new location. Because that's where the game shines -- the frantic struggle to collect the things you need to survive while making the most of the meager resources you manage to find along the way.
Yasssss be a good reason to have players team up too.
Right now, it's much more of a zombie 'simulator'. Once you start adding random monsters it veers into silly territory where it's just like every other zombie game. I don't need hunters/lickers/nemesis etc in Zomboid.
I think a huge part of the charm this game has is how grounded it is. Regular people, infected with a disease and becoming zombified.
I'm happy for them to add NPC's. That's still realistic.
It would add cat and mouse in the best way. I'm also advocating for weather events/natural disasters. I want dungeon-esque skyscrapers and bunkers.
