Sowing seeds

Not sure if its just me but I have all the tools for farming yet I cannot sow the seeds for some reason. Is this a bug or am I missing something.

Yes I had a total of 50 potato seeds and every time I right click the ground it gives no sow seed option I also have all the tools on me as well.

First you must dig a 'Furrow' on the ground. Have a trowel or hand fork in hand and then right click on the earth. I recommend digging 3x3 squares of furrows, to stop potential disease spread. Once a furrow is dug you can right click it to 'Sow Seeds'.

I have done that and it was still not given the option to do it.

Yes I do that is what I was initially thinking as well.

Hi! I have the same problem. Mods active only Hidrocraft 41 and snake's modpack. Do you think it can couse the problem? Thanks for your answer!

Both Hydrocraft and Snakes modpack change/expand farming, so it's probably an issue with either one or both of them.

If I remember correctly you have to click the furrow to sow seeds.
Have you been clicking the ground tile unterneath it by any chance?

Yes I have tried both ways and cannot get it to sow them.
I was thinking it is because it is mod issues.
