Project Zomboid

With this seemingly endless amount of mods, I'm surprised there isn't one for vehicle armor
If you know of one, tell us. It just seems with scrap armor mod and others, you'd think adding a sheet of metal to your windows would be a minimal, easy thing to do.
I don't code, so correct me if I'm wrong. I welcome constructive criticism.

There are some mods that have armoured vehicles or vehicles that can be upgraded with armour.

Generally vehicles are fairly tough and if used right can kill a lot of zombies (especially by reversing, trades damage to engine and hood for trunk damage instead mostly).

I respect all the answers here and thank you for your input.

I wasn't aware, so thanks. Gonna go look at that

The biggest issue I could foresee is making custom assets for it as most modders are coders and not modelers.
Interesting, because I do have a good familiarity with modeling...hmmm

Good point, I'll take that over front end decay

I'm going to consider this answered. Thanks for your input.

Apparently you can't read yourself, Metalworking does not add armor to vehicles, it only repairs parts.
And yes, I've referred to that wiki since it was created, why are you being so rude?

As I understand it, aside from mods, it is a planned feature for the game at some point.

Having overlooked and hopefully revisited the information I so graciously provided with my own time and effort, I would actually in fact appreciate a vehicle armouring mod, or as an alternative, for someone to add an additional car part mod involving bumpers, bull bars and ploughs.
