My character want to eat all the time
Is that normal? I am not doing anything only eating because of that debuff. I eat to the green well fed debuff and after few ingame hours (3-4) I need to eat again because of red debuff.

There is a mod out there that shows you your hunger bar. I would recommend, allows you to stay between no moodle and lower peckish before hungry. Also gives you number values that makes -25 hunger make more sense. Allowing for eat 1/4 when you feel is necessary. The mod also gives you thirst bars, fatigue bars as well as calorie bars to ensure you are either gaining/losing/maintaining weight.

As I recall, positive bonuses deplete faster than you incur negative ones, and it likely depletes faster the higher your bonus is. If you're eating to "well fed," I assume it will take half as long to deplete to "satiated" as it would from "satiated" to a normal state -- and likewise, "satiated will deplete to normal faster than to "peckish." Your overall food efficiency would be severely reduced this way, and it wouldn't surprise me that you're burning through food.

4 ingame hours are normal to slighly hungry?

Yeah. Peckish only means would could eat something. Just like in real life, it doesn't mean that your stomach is grumbling and you need to eat right now.

I don't know if this is what TeosDy_ToasT was referring to, but this will work:

I mean, are you actively running and performing actions? It makes sense that you need a higher caloric intake if you are actively doing things

That's the one.

The hungry debuff isn't that important, unless you're sick or lost big amounts of health (like more than a third), so its ok to let it drop to the hungry debuff (or even to the very hungry debuff, if you've easy access to food without the risk of fighting) before starting to eat. I also would recommend to try to get vegetables and cook these over eating from canned food, as you can be fed up with like 1 meal instead of 5-6 cans.

But it's totally normal to eat multiple times per day, just like in RL.
Bazim Jan 19, 2022 @ 12:26pm
So I guess its normal, but it seems like I can't do nothign without the debuff about hungry all the time. Thank you guys.
