Can't place single or double bed
I am trying to place a bed for my base, but it just won't do it. I have 2/2 pieces for a single bed, and 4/4 for a double bed, all requirements are green, yet it doesn't let me place the bed. someone help please :)

Are all pieces in your main inventory?

If they're in a bag your character will try to transfer them to your main inventory and if they can't it won't do the action

yes, all pieces for each bed are in my inv, not on floor or in bad.

what do you mean? I picked up the bed and got only a 4/4 plank type thing

What he means is that it should come in four seperate "plank type things". A 1/4, a 2/4, a 3/4 and lastly a 4/4. Those are the names for the items as well. Once you got all those pieces (in your main inventory!) you should be able to place it.

ohhh, so there are 4 spereate pieces, i only have 4/4. so i need 1/4 2/4 and 3/4 to build the bed, thanks

Interesting, I never have them all in my inventory due to the weight, I have the first piece on me, and always have the rest of the pieces on the floor where I am placing it, and it works just fine.

Yep, that works. You don't need to hold them all. Just have them nearby on the ground, but you do need the entire full set.

yes it works as long as its within the vicinity even if it was in your truck as long as the container is reachable as i do the exact same with a place that has a cooker and a fridge right next to each other the i put all the cooking stuff in the cupboard next to it and because all 3 are within reach i can make so many different kinds of foods and add spices ect
