Can you knock out the walls on a house and then build onto it to make the your safehouse space bigger?

You can, but for some reason when you add on to a preexisting structure the game tends to not count the space as being indoors.

you need a sledgehammer for this. they can be a bit of a pain to find. they tend to be in construction sites or warehouses

You cant extend the safehouse radius by doing this.

i tried to extend the radius, how many or the walls do i need to break down? i live in a 3 story house lol
