Where to Find Hunting Knife

I've tried checking gun shops, hunting shops, the hunting lodge, police stations, and a fishing shop but haven't come across them. Is there something I am missing?

Oh dear, is it? I have already tried the survivor homes I had maps for. RNG is a toss up, for sure.

I tend to find them stuck in zombies very often

They are pretty rare, but I think I have found them at Hardware Stores

I have found them mostly on zombies.

I usually find them on zombies, too, with a very high rate from tacticool zombies in trailer parks. Other good places to look are survivor caches and pawn shops.

As time passes, you will find them on zombies more and more often (as well as other rare weapons). After 6 months you'll be glad not to find one on zombies.

There were actually 3 in mint condition at the northern Louisville pawn shop. Thank you so much!
