Locked trailer??? any way to unlock?

i using one the the military mods that adds a military semi/trailers. i found one and the trailer was locked. is there any way to unlock a locked shipping container trailer?

Umm...how do i dismantle a trailer door? The mechanics window only pops up for a slip second and floses on it. I see on the numbers r red though.

Does that mean its just broken and cant be used

To dismantle it, I think you need a hammer and a screwdriver. I also heard you can break them down with weapons like and axe etc.

When i hit the door to open it like a window it hits twice. Then cant be hit but no change in accessability

Nobody in this thread seems to realize that OP is talking about a vehicle.

You probably need the key, OP. Might be the same key to the car it's attached to? Otherwise, ask the mod creator.

im having this problem too, i cannot open a single dry van 53' trailer, or the minis. im scared to find an RV and not be able to access it either. i even went debug mode for an hour desperately spawning and respawning and google searching stuff for nothing. i dont want to take this amazing mod out :(

ive found the only way is to remove the door, then put it back on itll be unlocked. if it wont let you it has to be done with admin

A bit late of a reply, but if you have the Common Sense mod you can pry the door or window of the trailer open with a crowbar

If you are in debug mode you can give yourself the key.

I'd recommend the mod that allows you to use a crowbar to pry doors open. Can't remember the specific mod, but it's really helpful overall, and I'd say it matches the realism style.
