You've been kicked from the server, Malformed Packet Detected Type 12

Well, this thing started to pop up ever since the game updated itself, and it is a major pain in my neck. I am getting kicked from the server I am hosting, and yes I am using mods. Can I somehow just disable this anti cheat feature, or whatever it is supposed to be? I'm playing with literally just two of my friends, I don't need the anti cheat, and dare I say, it only causes me problems.

I don't use that mod, good sir. It's the Cheat Menu mod that triggers this, and I use it because it makes all the admin tools easily accessible, for me anyway. Is there any way I can make the game stop kicking me, or should I just get used to being kicked from my own server? :D

I am getting this error too when hosting a modded server.
Is there any way I can disable this option? As it seems to be conflicting with a lot of mods.

I got this error too, It happened when i clicked "disable admin powers", booted me with that error. only saw it once, tried to duplicate it again, couldn't. not sure what it is

The developers said It's mainly because their anti-cheat is a little bit too tight. Even you are the admin or the host of the sever, mod like cheat menu and the true action will still trigger the anti-cheat and kick you out of the sever.

Thanks we'll look into it, in theory admins shouldn't trigger anti-cheat, however there's a balancing act of ensuring that no hackers manage to run admin commands by faking being an admin, so perhaps our anti cheat is being a little over zealous. At the end of the day, at the moment, making sure servers are as hack free as possible has been our priority, we'll hopefully get some nice balance in future.

Just found out I was kicked :(
The server I was on had the laying down mod and I think I was laying down when I logged off yesterday. I see myself for a second before the Type12 notice pops up.
