Can't paint the wall in the house

I settled in a house and decided to repaint the walls inside one of the bedrooms, but it turned out that I can’t paint them, I can paint the walls in the corridor, but not in any rooms, I can’t even plaster, I have paint, I have a brush, there is plaster, but I can only leave a mark on the wall, but not repaint it

Did you try pressing R to rotate?

Your only solution for unpaintable walls is destroying them with a sledgehammer and replacing them with level 3 wood walls you can plaster.

yes, i tried to rotate, it doesn't work

yes, I understand that I need a sledgehammer, but I thought maybe there is some other way out of this situation (considering how rare the sledgehammer has become, hah)
