again i have all necessary items like suture needle thread surgical holder everything
no shreds in wound
its a deep wound it says
but when i right clicked i see only to things to do disinfect and bandage

well, just do what it says, disinfect and bandage, maybe you dont need to suture it, or maybe you did, and didnt realize it. I bet in a few hours, or possibly days depending on your settings it will become a laceration, then a scratch then gone.

This make sense idk nothing to do else already. Thanks

Did u guys ever find a solution? I am in Rascals same situation i have everything but it does not give me the option to stitch. I have the suture, its a deep wound on both my feet, glass removed, everything in my main inventory and not backpack, its not stitched and i cant stitch it..

I used a regular needle and thread and it worked fine for me. Haven't used the suture needles yet, but maybe it's bugged? In any event, just try doing the hardcore method and stitch up that wound like a leather jacket.

I stopped using Sulture Needle after finding out it's only a one-time use.

I just keep a Sewing Kit in my glove box and in my base with all the necessary items to stitch wounds (and patch + pad clothing).

I've never had this problem, maybe it's a mod thing... However I have noticed that any time I use a suture needle I get an error message. If it's the injury you get from walking over broken glass then yeah it absolutely should be a deep wound that you can stitch. Since I don't like the error messages I just use a needle and thread. Doesn't seem to make a difference where it is in my inventory either, like if it's in a backpack or something I'm still able to use it. Hmm. This is VERY unlikely, but are you overburdened? Like maybe if unequipping whatever you're holding puts you over the threshold it stops you from switching to using the needle and thread? That's all I can think of.

Hemophobic by any chance?

I'm not homophobic I'm hoping it's not a mod thing because it would probably be impossible to find which mod is causing it. I'm going to actively look for a needle and try the needle and thread option. I tried unequipping everything I had on me in case I was overburdened and it still did not work. I will let you all know if the needle and thread work. If it doesn't I'm going to assume it's a mod issue.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so for some reason the needle and thread let me stitch myself while the suture needle didnt let me at all. I dont know why but i could finally stitch myself. Wont be saying goodbye to this character. Thanks all who replied to the thread so quickly.

By the way if you bandage the wound over, it will also heal, allthough takes a LOT longer, and it is a good idea to keep well fed all the time.
And if needle worked and suture did not it is likely a mod issue. (Unless there was something in the recent update i did not read)

Glad it worked out. When I first started playing I once walked on some broken glass by accident and didn't really understand how to fix my feet. Pretty short game, needless to say.

I have had it where I got a deep wound and didn't have the ability to sew it closed. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥ to deal with but you can slowly heal it into a laceration/scratch.
