Why isn't there any meat in the supermarket? (Megamart-Westpoint)

You'd think there would be packs of meat in thoes glass display cases in the back of the shop there, but its nothing but fruit and veg. Thats typically where you would have the meat.

There isn't any 'meat' in the game. Except 'game' meat, and your not going to find that in a supermarket.

Perhaps if cows, pigs, and chickens are added to the game, then you will find meat.

Hamburger meat, Steak, Chicken, etc seem to be semi-rare, but make sure you're checking freezers as well as refridgerators.

theres ham, steak, chicken, hamburgers and theres also rats/mice that you get from traps, also rabbits, if you want a full list you can check on the crafting menu under cooking :) p.s. salads somehow make you into a chef even tho you arent cooking anything xD

Well that confused me too. Every Time when I checked a fridge in game, I felt like living in some southeast Asian country other than America. A huge lot of veggies and fruits instead of beef steak, pork rib, chicken and mutton. Only found 1 chicken drumstick, one mutton rib, 2 rotten steak, 2 boxes of milk and NO pork in my current, over one month run(The first week sandbox). And I also couldn't find enough candy and chocolates, only half a dozen of cupcakes.
It's not even like southeast Asia, it's like somewhere in Africa or some vegans community in France.
I guess that's why I never found one overweight Z there. It's a parallel universe(of course).

Rare or not, there should be all kinds of meat in thoes glass display cases. Thats what they're for!.

Oh and lets not forget, there really should be cartens of milk, Packs of cheese slices, real cheese etc in thoes white cooling shelves to the right of the glass cases, like dairy producsts. in the fridges down to the right of the cooling shelves there should be frozen pizza's bags of frozes chicken patties, ice cream, idk frozen bags of broccoli? sherries? you know stuff like that.

And in the normal shelves should be all the cans of foods, ketchups and musterds, pasta and rice, salt pepper, and not just cupcakes and chips.

The only area that should have the fruit and veg would be thoes wooden stands to the left of the front door and i guess in the back rooms of the store along with a lot of other stuff. A super market should be a gold mine, you know since theres NO NPCs!!! >8( ...eh hem..sorry bout that. :/

It's not really an realistic system, when was the last time you drove through a one stoplight town with no fast food places? Expect zombies stuck in the ball pit and tube slides.
