Sure, but it would have been nice tbh, at least a modifaction to the gearbox would be nice.

Manual cars are more likely to be diesel powered like heavy machinery and would have greater hauling capacity and off-roading.

Or just as likely to be regular fueled, average cars. Manual transmissions were far from rare in the 90's, even in the States.

Not really. Most vehicles on the road in the US are automatic and it has always been that way.

For the record though I wouldn't be against them adding manual transmission vehicles. But their numbers should be fewer than automatics.

I was driving a stick shift Volkswagen Cabriolet in the early 90s. My next car was also a straight drive. And the one after that. Automatic transmissions were kind of bad before the turn of the millennium, plus I always preferred to be able to kickstart my car in a pinch.

Naturally my search brought 3-5-year-old threads for this problem which was only ever fixed in mods as of 2022.

How was the pressure and condition of the tyres of the towed car? When i tow a car and i cant drive past 15mph because if i switch gear i lose speed usually just inflate the towed car to the right pressure allow me to drive back home at 60mph no problem in most of the case.

Which mod does that?

I've never actually driven a car in the US, but I'd be surprised if they normally sit at 3000 rpm on cruise control. Also, you can usually force an automatic anyway.
So is there NOW a possibility, couldn't move a blocking car, because it has "P" gear set and the engine is broken ... wanted to tow it away, couldn't move the broken car because of that stupidity, that you couldn't change the gear, when you aren't able to start the car
Thanks but on a server ! :steamsad:
