The official wiki[pzwiki.net] has unfortunately been left in the dust after the last few updates. So I'm asking if anyone is interested in contributing to getting the wiki back to a partially up-to-date state again, to please consider visiting the community portal[pzwiki.net] to see how you can help.

Whether you're a beginner or veteran in Project Zomboid, there is definitely somewhere on the wiki that your time and effort will be needed and appreciated. If you'd like to help but are clueless about anything and everything, please do post a comment either in this thread, the community discussion page[pzwiki.net], my talk page[pzwiki.net] or send me a direct message on steam.

Don't be shy, I'm sure all new players would appreciate a more up-to-date wiki that you've contributed to.



Consider seeing the thread on the forum[theindiestone.com] which will be updated more frequently.

Depends what kind of guide you need. For basic wiki editing stuff, we have an editing for beginners guide[pzwiki.net] or things to do[pzwiki.net], or for more in-depth stuff there's the help contents[pzwiki.net].
If you're not sure what to edit, or what needs to be editted. There are projects[pzwiki.net], which are really just different game topics. So you can look through them and see if there's a topic you're interested in (there are still some that need to be setup). We also have a priority issues page[pzwiki.net] which you can look through and contribute where you'd like.

There is also a Discord channel[discord.gg] dedicated to the wiki. So you can chat with us there if you'd like.

Not exactly. There are a few basic guides for each skill, such as carpentry. https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Carpentry_Guide#Step_1:_Character_Creation

I have seen a complete character creation guide recommended a few times, although I personally wouldn't know where to begin with that. Feel free to start a page on it if you'd like.

Send an email to [e-mail] with the email address you tried to use. We need to add your email to the whitelist.

Keep in mind that there may be a delay in getting a response since it's so close to Christmas.
