Just turned on Zomboid for a little go after not playing for a while.
Seems there has been an update, where I left my game I could load my shogun fine, now my shotgun wont load.
I have some mods, I think this is a gun from Brita mod pack, not sure tbh.
But I cannot reload. I wonder if its human error or is it the game.
Anyone got any ideas before I trawl the net, give up and just play something else ?

Check if you have the correct shotgun ammo. There are a few types of shotgun ammo. I'm also using that mod with no problems atm.

Ah, think its fine I'm using 12g rounds. And it worked fine last play, which was before the latest patch.

Yes that shotgun is from the Brita mod, and I believe it uses a magazine. Look at the item description to see if it says "contains magazine" or "needs magazine". Should taje a "1216 magazine" or something like that. You wont be able to load it without one

Thanks I did not realise that, before I could just load like any other shotgun. Now this makes sense, I shall check, might use a different shotgun if that's the case, I have never seen one of those mags and thus have none.
