Does "Out of Shape" go away if you use the exercise system?

My character was very underweight, now after one month of constant activity and eating is back to normal weight, but even with all the moving around he is still "out of shape". Does it go away if I exercise?

(Btw, all the penalties of very underweight stacked on top of each other are too many, especially since the fitness penalty is permanent)

Yes, you can also take the "Extremely Underweight" one as well for some extra points to use and just eat a bunch of high calorie foods and it will eventually go away but you still get to keep those extra points in the beginning. I tend to take the worst of the negative perks that can easily be fixed in regards to your weight or physical fitness. If you make your character extremely out of shape and underweight or overweight, you can easily fix those by playing the game and just running around doing things normally.

Good that it goes away, thanks. I usually take very underweight, but they added the permanent -2 fitness and together with out of shape, getting injured easily, makes me think its not worth taking it anymore in the future, not worth it for the 10 points...

Any fitness or strength based traits can be added or removed by changes in those stats during the game.

Weight based traits are also gained or lost by changes in weight.
