Creative mode mapping mod
Is it possible / hard to make a mod that is identical to the creative mode? That was announced a while ago which will take a long while to arrive.

Creative mode would be great to get, the current method is a bit daunting to get into, but... If you're interested and haven't gotten into it and learned yet, I'll post a bunch of useful stuff here for building and map making.

Firstly, here are two tutorials, one text, another video. They both go through a lot of the steps.

If you want to edit existing world cells, there is this. Problem is it does not contain a zombie spawn file. I'm currently in the process of splitting up the map into individual cells for both the base and vegetation map, atm I just need to rename each cell to correspond with the PZ map.

Now for building, this guy has a 4 video series which is reasonably useful. Still takes some practice using the building editor.

Beyond that, if you want, there is a community building pool with some stuff in it too. I'm personally picky, so not much of it is useful to me, I'll be doing most my buildings myself, will probably share down the road.

Hope some of that helps. Not as simple as the a creative map would be, but yah.

Didn’t have enough people to work on it, so creative was put on the back burner. At this point, any work done on it would be far too old to be useful.

There was a notice posted here for around two years about it.

Might still happen at a later date, perhaps post 1.0 or when the base game is locked in, but it is not being developed right now.

Aah is see, thank you for explaining.
