How to switch gears on a car?

The characters are driving all the time in first gear and the car makes a terrible noise, how to change gears?

I also hope there is a way to shift gear manually. When I tow a car, I have to start the engine of the car being towed, or its gear will be stuck on "P" and it won't move.

Or you simply disable the parking brake in the vehicle menu to allow for the wheels to spin.

İf u have speed demon perk İt will be too fast but so noisy and car will use gas just like drinking water

Actually speed demons gas consumption is not nearly as bad as that of sunday driver, whic h is huge.

Can't you press up or down on the arrow keys to shift gears? or maybe holding shift+w, or shift+s to change gears... I may be confusing this with a different game as I have not played PZ in a while, but try it out!

nevermind, I was curious and went on to see, and shift+w/s just sets and increases/decreases the cruise control speed. My bad. lol
